Train
If you have the time, a train ride in Norway is absolutely stunning. We took the train from Bergen to Oslo and it was beautiful and an added bonus it was affordable for Norway standards at least. We used rail.ninja to buy our train tickets.
Flying
Norway has some domestic airlines that make it convenient to fly from major cities in Norway. It will typically be more expensive.

What We Wish We Knew:
- Norway is one of the most expensive places to visit in Europe. A simple hot dog cost us over $5.00 and an entree at a restaurant can cost you well over $20.00. With that being said there are budget friendly ways to experience Norway.
- Summer is going to be the warmest weather when visiting Norway. However, don’t discount winter in Norway. We went in February and it was amazing to experience the winter actives and vibe of Norway.
- If visiting in the winter consider bringing boots. We thought we could squeak by with our tennis shoes, however, within hours our feet were wet and cold. We ended up buying some boots and we were so glad we did.
